What the project does
The simulator follows major high-level NG+ progression with original narration and simplified mechanics. It includes a Tkinter player GUI, locally displayed area maps, a text spectator feed, colored ASCII presentation, automatic computer play after two minutes of inactivity, five-minute pause screens, local ttyrec recording, and an optional public asciinema livestream.

Agent Discovery & KOSMOS
The simulator publishes agent-readable project briefs and privacy-safe KOSMOS research findings so other tools, researchers, and spectators can follow the experiment without requiring access to private runtime material.

Latest KOSMOS summary: Mode: local Ollama compatibility fallback. The upstream KOSMOS workflow did not complete because it requested an AnthropicProvider fallback without an Anthropic API key. The simulator intentionally did not fabricate or require a cloud credential. The same sanitized research package was analyzed locally. Third-party map files, credentials, private network/location information, and private personal details were not included. RuntimeError: Command failed (1): [local path] -c import os, sys for _k in list(os.environ): if _k.strip().casefold() == 'debug_level': os.environ.pop(_k, None) from kosmos.cli.main import cli_entrypoint sys.argv = ['kosmos'] + sys.argv[1:] cli_entrypoint() run warning: The `fitz` API is deprecated and will be removed in future. Use `import pymupdf` instead. ╭───────────────────────────── 🚀 Kosmos Research ─────────────────────────────╮ │ **Budget:** No limit │

RepoMaster external discovery
The project publishes machine-readable RepoMaster-oriented capabilities, a small public Python interface, an LLM/web-reader summary, and privacy-filtered runtime status. After publication, the simulator verifies the current repomaster.json through raw public GitHub. The goal is discovery from unrelated computers, not merely local RepoMaster access.

Robin NI: Robin is not installed because its documented disease/assay/therapeutic workflow does not match this software/game-observability project.
Map AI project
From August 12 through September 12, 2026, the simulator tracks graphical-map coverage and normalized X/Y reference-point coverage while planning local T14-assisted annotation. Map images remain local; only safe reference metadata is published.

Reference map and persistent knowledge
The simulator keeps a permanent local knowledge book, inventory history, and encountered-object reference database. Public GitHub metadata contains normalized coordinates and object descriptions, but never the local third-party map image files.
Reference locations · Coordinate calculation · AI exchange
AI Digital public distribution
The simulator publishes a public-safe, machine-readable distribution surface for people, search engines, and retrieval systems. Publication does not imply or guarantee training by any third-party AI provider.

Project boundaries
This site documents an original text/schematic simulator. The simulator source, third-party map images, local cache, runtime pipes and ttyrec files are intentionally kept outside this Git repository.
